“It Pay$ to be Green!” Promotional Terms of Service 
  
What do I need to do to get a Powerball Lottery Ticket? 
Age:  You must be over 18.  Even though our “suits” have reassured us that this is a promotional giveaway, and not “gambling over the Internet”, we just want to cover our a-- ?  er ? bases. Sorry kiddies, you can still register, but you won’t qualify for the Ticket.  We promise to try and have something for you soon. 
 
Registration Fields: Even though these are not required fields for regular Registration, to qualify for the Promotion, you must register your correct Full Name, City, and State, OR your Last Name, Photo, City, and State.  You must register the Name, City and State shown on your current Drivers License. We need this so we can make sure that a winning Ticket is awarded to the person who signed up.  Please do not post a Photo of Brad Pitt (if you’re a guy) or Angelina Jolie (if you’re a gal) or an Alien (if you are not sure).  Do not use names like “Donald Duck” and “Hank E. Panky”.  Unless you’re trying to be discovered as a Comedian.
 
Duplicate Registrations: You cannot register twice.  If your Ticket wins, and we discover that you have signed up twice, all winnings would be forfeited to the LayZ Green Staff who will immediately book a trip to Jamaica, rent mopeds, and proceed to run the site from the island during breaks from racing and tequila shots.  On second thoughts, go ahead, register twice, make our day!  
 
Contributions: Once registered, we ask that you join 3 Pledges, post 3 Pledge Pix, and comment on 3 Pledge Pix posted by others (Contribute, Inspire, and Encourage!).  Why 3 times? Because research shows that it takes anywhere from 3-7 times for a person to do or see something before they change their habits.  For LayZ people, it might be more like 300-700 times, so we’re really cutting you a break. 

Pledge Pix Note:  Please note that the Pledge Pix is really important, we want to see YOU perform the Pledge and inspire others with your Green actions!  So please don’t use some generic model from some stock photo collection, we need a real person in the photo or video, and that person should be YOU!  We promise not to ask other LayZ Green People to rate you as “Hot or Not” or draw mustaches on your pictures, at least not in public.
 
Note that the 3 Pledge Pix must be posted for 3 different Pledges to be eligible.  By the way, stop rolling your eyes at the length of this page and all the rules!  If there weren't so many layz people out there who we know will want to do as little as possible, we wouldn't have to write all this.
 
Invalid Submissions:  Please note that contributions must be unique and appropriate to the section to which you are contributing.  Submissions reported by users or removed by our staff will not be counted, and an email will be sent notifying you of the removal.  You can continue to contribute content to qualify for the promotion.  If content is graphic or contains inappropriate content, we have the right to terminate your account and participation in the site and this promotion.  If you would not be comfortable showing your contribution to your mother and high-school principal, then shame on you, and don't post it here!
 
Deadline: Be sure to do the Three 3s (Contribute! Inspire! Encourage!) before April 30th.  The drawing will be in early May, we’ll send you the date and your Ticket number to your registered Email.  You can participate in any Pledge, from January to June, past and future.  If you miss the April 30th  deadline, you are truly, truly layz, that is MONTHS from now!

How do I get my Lottery Ticket sent to me and how do I check if I’ve won?
The ticket number will be sent to the Email address you registered with us, a few days before the drawing.  It will be a Powerball Lottery Ticket, so check their website to find out how or where in your area to look for the winning numbers.  They post the winning numbers on their website, but it is probably shown on one of your TV channels as well.  We will be checking for the winning numbers also, but the ultimate responsibility of checking if you’ve won is yours.  We are not liable and will pay you nada if you’ve won something and are too layz to let us know before its too late.  If you have won something, notify us, and we’ll proceed to do the “dance of joy” and then immediately book a trip to Jamaica, rent mopeds, and…
 
 
Why will the LayZ Green Staff be doing the “dance of joy” when someone wins?
Because our last condition is that we get 10% of any winnings. We like money too, especially since we’re going to be spending it on this promotion, and getting the “suits” involved if someone wins.  Its really an administration fee for our efforts to ensure that everything goes smoothly with getting you your money.   So after all is said and done,  we might not be able to afford that trip to Jamaica, and we’ll just have to settle for pizza and beer.
 
 
The chances of me winning are slim, and this seems like too much work, why should I do this?
Because in the end, it’s for a good cause, that’s why.  You should register, you should get your friends to register, and you should come back often to join each Pledge and inspire others with your Green actions.  Remember, Tree-Huggers, Corporations, and the Government are not going to save our Planet.  We ALL have to do our part to contribute.  But if we take small Steps – TOGETHER - we can create BIG impact!  Get up, you LayZ bum, and join us now!
